Forever Yours, Faithfully Chapter 3:

"Are you sure that you don't want me to stay?" Brian asked his boyfriend with a gentle caress of his cheek and a look of both adoration and concern in his eyes.

"Yes, I'm sure, Brian. You go. I'll be fine," Zacky replied, nuzzling into the warm, soft palm lying against his face.

"I don't know if I should, Zee. I mean, you're sick, and I don't wanna leave you alone. I should be taking care of you."

Zacky smiled but rolled his eyes. He had caught a slight chill during their sightseeing excursion the day before, but he wasn't that bad. "Baby, listen to me, I'll be fine. I promise. I'm not terminal, ya know."

Brian sighed. "I know that, but I don't want you to be alone."

"Bri, I'm tired, that's all. I'm just gonna get some sleep. I'll be right here when you get back."

Brian bit his lip and furrowed his brow in thought before slowly shaking his head. "No, I-I can't just leave you. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I did THAT?"

"Brian..."

"You are way, way more important to me than everything else, especially another interview. Matt, Johnny and Jimmy can take care of it without me. I..."

Zacky rolled his eyes and shook his head. No wonder he acted like a spoiled diva at times. In the blink of an eye, he leaned forward, closing the small gap between himself and Brian and captured his boyfriend's lips in a searing kiss. It caught Brian totally off-guard. He wrapped his arms around Zacky and deepened the kiss as he held him tightly.

After a few passionate moments, Zacky pulled back and broke the kiss with an enormous amount of difficulty, and Brian whined in disappointment. Zacky encircled his arms loosely around Brian's neck, letting them rest on his shoulders. He stared into Brian's dark chocolate brown eyes and smiled, a sparkle lighting up his own bright green eyes.

"WOW!" Brian murmured, breathing a bit heavier.

"Yeah, I know. I'm just that good," Zacky smirked smugly.

"Do you seriously expect me to leave after a kiss like THAT?"

"Yeah, I do...especially if you expect more of that later. Don't I still owe you for my tantrum yesterday?" Zacky asked matter-of-factly.

"You wouldn't DARE not..." Brian mumbled, wide-eyed.

"Wouldn't I?"

Brian stared at Zacky for a moment, realizing that his boyfriend was, indeed, being serious. He shook his head and rolled his eyes. He wasn't about to push his luck with Zacky. Especially not today of all days.

"All right, all right, I'll go," Brian sighed. "Just know that I'm doing this under COMPLETE protest."

"Duly noted."

Brian kissed Zacky's lips softly and then, reluctantly, pulled away and pushed himself up from where he was sitting at the foot of their hotel room bed. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Okay."

"Call me if you need anything. I mean it."

"I will," Zacky sighed. "I'll be fine by myself for a few hours. It isn't like I'm out in the middle of nowhere, Bri."

Brian arched his eyebrow and narrowed his eyes a little bit. "Don't. Say. That."

"Sorry. Ya better go before the guys leave without you."

"I wouldn't mind THAT," Brian stated bluntly.

"I don't doubt that," Zacky smiled. "The sooner you go, the sooner you get back."

"Fine. Fine. I'm going," Brian sighed, rolling his eyes. He took a deep breath and then with another sigh and eye roll, headed to the hotel room door.

"Hey!" Zacky yelped.

"What?" Brian turned around and once again, arched an eyebrow up.

"What do ya mean WHAT?" Zacky asked, eyes narrowing in confusion.

Brian shrugged his shoulders. "What else do you want me to say?"

Zacky's eyes narrowed further, but this time in frustration. "Oh, I don't know. WHAT could I possibly be talking about?"

"I don't know," Brian shrugged again. "I can't read your mind, Zee."

"Just...just GO!" Zacky growled, crossing his arms over his chest.

Brian smirked, knowing full well what Zacky was talking about when he'd first stopped him. He walked back over to the bed and sat down on the edge, right beside Zacky.

"Don't pout," he smiled, caressing Zacky's cheek once again.

"I'm. Not. POUTING!" Zacky grumbled.

"Baby," Brian started softly.

"WHAT?"

Brian grinned. "You are SUCH a little brat."

"I am n..."

Brian silenced Zacky by kissing him. Zacky was stunned and didn't know what to do for a moment, but then wrapped his arms around Brian and kissed him back. It didn't take very long for the kiss to deepen or for Zacky to lay back on the bed, pulling his boyfriend down, on top of him.

It took everything Brian had in him to break the kiss and pull away from Zacky. "I...we can't. Not right now," he said breathlessly.

"YOU started it," Zacky pouted.
"I know, I know. I just wanted to give you a kiss and tell you something before I went."

"What?" Zacky sighed.

Brian kissed Zacky and then smiled. "I LOVE you, Zee."

Zacky smiled brightly and his eyes sparkled. "I LOVE you, too, Bri."

Brian glanced at his watch and then sighed. He placed a tender kiss to the center of his boyfriend's forehead. "I have to go."

"I know," Zacky sighed.

"I'll be back before you know it. If you need anything, call me or text me."

"Mmhhmm," Zacky nodded his head.

Brian pressed his lips to Zacky's once more and then pushed himself back up to his feet. "I'll see ya later."

Zacky nodded his head with just a little hint of a smile. "Okay."

"I LOVE you, Zacky," Brian said softly but firmly with a loving smile about his lips.

"I LOVE you, too, Brian," Zacky said just as firmly with a bright smile of his own, his bright green eyes sparkling.
